TSH Community Cove emblemCOMMUNITY COVEBY THE STILL HAND
Our story

It began with a question.

Why should children have to sacrifice their individuality to experience education, friendship and belonging?

How the vision began

Our children are homeschooled. We value their freedom to ask questions, express themselves and discover their own interests. We also want them to experience friendship, teamwork, healthy boundaries and the joy of being part of something.

Community Cove grew from a family’s wish to bring these things together. A place for educational support and practical experiences, while parents remain responsible for their children’s education.

Why community matters

Families need people, too. We imagine parents exchanging ideas, children finding common interests, and friendships growing through shared experiences rather than a need to fit a single mould.

Our philosophy

“We are not here to shape children into who we think they should become. We are here to provide a safe environment in which they can discover who they are.”

Our commitment to children

Kindness, respect, inclusion and responsibility belong alongside personal expression. Safeguarding must shape our decisions, from adult membership and image permissions online to supervision and screening in person.

The future we envision

A welcoming coastal space with room to study, make, grow, explore and gather. The premises, operating model and programmes are still being investigated. We will share progress honestly, including what has not yet been achieved.
